YuE2 writes your song as sheet music first, so if one chord sounds wrong, you change that one chord and run it again. The rest of the song stays the same. In this video I build the full YuE2 workflow in ComfyUI, from a first basic song to editing chords and making covers from a reference song. Here is what happened in my tests. My first song sounded great, but it stopped before the ending. The problem was max duration. 60 seconds is a limit, not a target. I raised it to 180, and the model worked out the real length by itself and ended the song properly. You can go up to 900 seconds if you need more room. Then I changed one chord in the ABC notation, a Bb to a Gm. The singer was straining on that line before. After the change, it sat easily. I did not touch the lyrics, and I did not regenerate anything else. I also found something by accident. I ran the same song at 32 steps and at 6 steps, and I could not hear a difference. 6 steps was much faster. Try it on your own song before you trust it, but on mine it held up.
